Ingrédients

1/2 cup butter

1 cup milk

1/4 tsp salt

1 cup white sugar

1 tsp lemon flavouring

2 cups flour

3 egg whites

3 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 tsp red food colouring

Instructions

Cream butter, sugar, and flavouring.

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt.

Add alternately with milk.

Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Put half the mixture in a well oiled pan.

For renaming half of mixture add colouring and raisins. Place in centre of white mixture in pan. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.

Ice with green icing to look like watermellon.
