MAIN DISH Jalapeño Jelly Chicken

Ingrédients

2 lbs chicken (thin-cut breasts, regular breasts, diced chicken, or boneless skinless thighs)

1 (7.5 oz) tub Garden Vegetable Cream Cheese

½ cup jalapeño jelly

½ cup chicken broth

3 tbsp ranch seasoning

Shredded mozzarella or pepper jack cheese

Garnish with bacon crumbles or fresh parsley!

Chicken Seasoning

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Place the chicken in the baking dish

Season the chicken with the garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.

In a bowl, whisk together:

Softened Garden Vegetable Cream Cheese

Jalapeño jelly

Chicken broth

Ranch seasoning

Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken.

Cover tightly with foil and bake according to the times below.

Remove from oven the last 5-10 minutes. take off foil, and top with shredded cheese. Place back in oven to melt cheese. Remove and let sit for another 5-10 minutes to let the sauce thicken slightly.

Chicken is done when the thickest piece reaches 165°F. Spoon the sauce over the chicken before serving.

Cook Times at 400°F

Thin-cut chicken breasts: 20–25 minutes

Diced chicken (1-inch cubes): 20–25 minutes

Regular chicken breasts (about 1 inch thick): 28–35 minutes

Large/thick chicken breasts (1½–2 inches): 35–45 minutes

Boneless skinless chicken thighs: 30–40 minutes
