Garlic Soy Chicken

1 chicken breast or thigh
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sugar (optional, helps caramelize)
1 clove garlic, minced (or more if you love garlic)
1 tsp neutral oil (vegetable, canola, or olive)
Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
Prep the chicken:
Slice chicken into thin strips (so it cooks quickly).
Toss with soy sauce, minced garlic, sugar, and black pepper.
Cook:
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high.
Add chicken and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Optional: drizzle a tiny bit of the pan juices over the noodles.
Or Bake:
15–20 minutes for sliced chicken strips
20–25 minutes for whole chicken breast or thigh
Flip halfway through for even cooking.
