Easy Rabokki (Tteokbokki with Ramen)

3 cups anchovy stock (dashi, unsalted chicken stock, or water (see notes below)
200 g Korean rice cakes
1 package instant ramen
2 sheets fish cake (defrosted and cut into bite-sized pieces)
2 green onion (chopped)
1 cup cabbage (shredded)
2 boiled eggs (optional)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes) (adjust to desired heat level)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tbsp honey (rice syrup or oligo syrup)
3 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)

Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl. If your rice cakes are frozen, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes to prepare. Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Bring water or stock to a boil over medium heat. Add sauce and rice cakes and boil for about 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add fish cake, ramen noodles, cabbage, green onion, boiled eggs and/or any other toppings of choice, and cook for another 3 minutes or until the noodles are cooked through.
Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds. Enjoy!
