1 pound jalapeño slices

2 cups white sugar

2/3 cup apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon chopped garlic

1 teaspoon celery seed

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

1/4 teaspoon chili flakes

Salt and pepper to taste

Bring sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic, celery seed, turmeric, and chili flakes to a boil. Add jalapeño slices and cook for two minutes. Pull off heat and let cool to room temperature seasoned with salt and pepper to taste.
