Grilled Chicken Skewers Marinated in Mediterranean Flavors

Ingredients:

1.5 pounds chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes

1/4 cup olive oil

3 tablespoons lemon juice

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Wooden or metal skewers

Directions:

In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.

Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for maximum flavor.

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Preheat your grill or broiler to medium-high heat.

Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.

Place the skewers on the grill or under the broiler and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
