Mary's French Toast Casserole

•1 Loaf of Cinnamon Raisin Bread
•8 Eggs
•2 Cups Milk (or Half&Half)
•2 tsp Vanilla Extract
•1 Large Can Sliced Peaches
•Dash Cinnamon (to taste)
•Dash Nutmeg (Ground)
Glaze
•6 Tbsp Butter
•3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
•Splash Syrup
Instrucciones
Grease 13x9 pan. Layer bread in pan; Top with peaches; Add another layer of each. Mix eggs and milk in a bowl to measure 4 cups combined (add more milk or eggs to get four cups). Add vanilla to mixture. Mix well and pour over bread and peaches. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg (to taste). Cover and refrigerate several hours (or overnight).
Preheat oven to 350F. Make glaze by melting butter in sauce pan; add brown sugar and syrup. Bring to a boil; stirring frequently. Pour over bread and fruit. Bake 45 minutes until eggs are set firm.
