This one is by Danielle Crouch (@danirose9) and Allan Katz (@allanvkatz), who made it for Here’s Looking At You (@hereslookingatyoula; Los Angeles). The split base gives it a balance of warmth and tropical brightness, with a touch of grenadine for sweetness and Fernet for a little bitter edge. “It tastes like drinking your way through Christmas break,” says Katz.

DICKENSIAN VILLAIN 🥃

1 oz. / 30 ml. rye whiskey

1 oz. / 30 ml. pineapple rum

¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. grenadine

1 barspoon Fernet Branca

orange peel oil

ice sphere by @abstract_ice

Instrucciones

add all ingredients to mixing glass / stir with ice until chilled / strain into a glass over a BFC / express orange peel oil over surface / garnish with orange twist
