I know I’m a little ahead of myself but I’ve been trying to think of an easy gift I could make for people this year for the holiday season, and I thought, why not a coffee liqueur? So I grabbed my bag of @roastybuds bartenders espresso blend and got to work. This method of creating coffee liqueur came from @trufflesontherocks and it’s the best one I’ve used so far. They’re great creators so definitely check out their work if you haven’t yet! If I had to make any changes for my next batch I think I’ll dial back the sugar and swap the vodka for a nice aged rum to give the whole thing a little more body.

Grind 50 grams of coffee

Instrucciones

Add that to a cold brew bag and place in a mason jar

Add 2 orange peels, 1 cinnamon stick, 300ml of vodka and 1tsp of vanilla extract.

Mix that all together and seal the jar.

Let it infuse for 4 hours then remove orange and cinnamon.

Reseal the jar and put in the fridge for 20 more hours.

Take the coffee bag out and squeeze out every last drop.

In a heatproof container combine 85g brown sugar with 85ml hot water, stirring until dissolved.

Pour the syrup into your coffee vodka.

Strain through a fine mesh coffee filter to ensure you don’t get any small coffee grounds in there.

Put into a batch bottle @crewbarware and keep refrigerated.

Enjoy and share it with some friends!
