Pesto steak sandwich

Ingredientes

1 handful basil

1 tbsp pine seeds

2 tbsp Parmesan cheese

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

3 tbsp olive oil

1 clove garlic

1 rumpsteak

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1/2 tbsp butter

1 Tbsp sunflower oil

1 stem rosemary

1 clove garlic

1 ciabatta

1 mozzarella

3 sundried tomatoes

arugula

1 tbsp balsamic cream

Instrucciones

Pesto

Add all the ingredients to a blender and mix until smooth.

Steak

Season the steak on both sides with salt and pepper. Smash the garlic clove.

Heat the oil in the pan. Leave the heat on medium high. Add the steak and fry for about 2-2,5min.

Flip the steak and add the butter, rosemary and garlic. Use a spoon to pure the melted butter over the steak. Repeat a few times. Fry the steak for another 2-2,5min.

Sandwich

Cut the ciabatta in half. Roast both halves in the same pan in which you fried the steak to absorb all the flavors.

Slice the mozzarella and chop the sundried tomatoes.

Spread the bottom half of the bread with 2 tablespoons of pesto. Place the mozzarella slices on top.

Bake this half of the bread in the oven at 200 degrees until the cheese is melted.

In the meantime, slice the steak.

Top the bottom half of the bread with the sundried tomatoes, arugula and steak.

Drizzle on the balsamic cream.

Stack the other bread half on top and enjoy!
