Crispy Parmesan Asparagus Fries

Main:
1 bunch asparagus (about 1 lb), trimmed
½ cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Dredging:
2 eggs
2 tbsp milk (optional)
Seasoning:
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika (optional)
For Cooking:
2 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray
Instrucciones
Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Prep Asparagus:
Wash and trim woody ends of asparagus. Pat dry.
Set Up Breading Station:**
Bowl 1: Whisk eggs with milk
Bowl 2: Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper
Coat Asparagus:**
Dip each asparagus spear into egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture. Press gently so coating sticks.
Arrange & Bake:**
Place coated asparagus on tray in a single layer. Drizzle or spray with olive oil.
Bake:**
Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and crispy.
Serve:**
Serve hot with marinara, garlic aioli, or yogurt dip.
