Ingredientes

This one is off the menu at one of my favorite Portland bars, Rum Club (@rumclubpdx) and created by Mike “Juice” Treffehn (@mtreffehn). It is rather straightforward in build, but so complex on the palate. It rich and spirit-forward, with layers of warm spice and herbal sweetness. The citrus oils on the surface brighten it up as you sip.

ANYONE’S SHADOW 👤

1 oz. / 30 ml. rye whiskey

1 oz. / 30 ml. overproof Jamaican rum (Smith & Cross)

¾ oz. / 22.5 ml. Amaro Meletti

¼ oz. / 7.5 ml. Bénédictine

lemon peel oil

Instrucciones

add all ingredients to mixing glass / stir with ice until chilled / strain into a coupe or Nick and Nora / express lemon peel oil over the surface / garnish with lemon twist (optional)
