Chicken Taquitos

Ingredientes

•3-4 Chicken Breasts, frozen or thawed

• 8 oz. Cream Cheese

• ½C. Jalapenos, roughly chopped

• 1 tsp. Garlic powder

• 1 tsp. Salt

• 1 tsp. Cumin

• 16 taco sized Tortillas (I prefer flour)

• 1 ½C. shredded Cheese

• Optional--cilantro, salsa, sour cream

Instrucciones

1. Add Chicken, ½C. Water, cream cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder, salt and cumin to crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hrs or 3-4hrs on high if thawed chicken.

2. 45 minutes before serving, preheat over to 425.

3. Spray baking sheet or casserole pan with non-stick cooking spray.

4. Use forks to shred the chicken and mix it in the crockpot.

5. Warm tortillas in microwave for a few seconds to soften.

6. Put some cheese in the middle of the tortilla along with a scoop of chicken mixture. Roll tightly into log shape.

7. Place taquitos on baking sheet and spray with cooking spray.

8. Bake 10-15 minutes or until tortillas start to brown.

Notas

We like to add cilantro lime rice inside the taquitos.
