Creamy Chicken in Peppery Garlic Sauce Over Rice

1 ½ lbs boneless chicken breast or thighs, cubed
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
1 ½ tsp cracked black pepper (adjust to taste)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt to taste
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
3 cups cooked white rice (jasmine or basmati)
Instrucciones
Sear the Chicken: In a skillet, heat oil/butter over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then sear until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth and scrape up bits from the bottom. Stir in heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
Combine & Simmer: Return chicken to the skillet. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until sauce thickens slightly and coats the chicken.
Serve & Garnish: Spoon chicken and sauce over white rice. Top with chopped parsley and an extra dash of pepper if desired.
