Bulgur Pilaf (Rick Stein)

Ingredientes

400g bulgur wheat, rinsed

50g butter

1 green pepper, deseeded and chopped

6 spring onions, chopped

1/2 onion, grated

250g tinned tomatoes

500ml chicken stock

1 tsp salt

6 turns pepper

Instrucciones

Soak the bulgur wheat in cold water, cover for 10 mins, then drain.

In a frying pan with a lid, melt the butter, add the drained bulgur wheat and stir to toast for a minute. Add the rest of the ingredients. Put the lid on and simmer for 10 minutes until the stock has been absorbed.
