Maple Balsamic Brussels Sprouts

2 tablespoons (1/4 stick) butter
2 shallots, diced
2-3 pounds Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 cup dried cranberries or craisins
Balsamic glaze, for topping (optional)
Instrucciones
1. Place the butter in the Instant Pot and press Sauté and Adjust to the More or High setting. Once the butter's melted, add the shallots and sauté for 3 minutes, until slightly softened.
2. Add the Brussels sprouts, vinegar, maple syrup, cranberries, and almonds. Stir until everything is mixed together and the Brussels sprouts are well-coated in the sauce.
3. Secure the lid, move the valve to the sealing position, and hit Manual or Pressure Cook on High Pressure for 1 minute. Quick release when done and remove the sprouts from the Instant Pot.
4. To crisp the sprouts (optional): Place the Brussels sprouts on a foil-lined baking sheet in a preheated 400°F oven and roast for 10-15 minutes, antil golden-brown and crispy (keep an eye on them as oven temperatures vary. Or, if you have an Instant Pot Duo Crisp, use the crisping lid and hit irFry at 400°F for 5-10 minutes until they reach the desired crispiness.
5. Place the Brussels sprouts in a serving dish, along with their sauce and drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
