Coffee Infused Gin, Lillet Blanc, Aperol, Campari, Amaretto

During the holidays I was going through “Batched and Bottled Cocktails” by the folks from Three Sheets @threesheetsbars looking for something to bring to a party and I came across this Coffee and Cigarettes cocktail. Originally from the now shuttered This Must Be The Place @_thismustbetheplace_ in Sydney, this lighter, negroni style cocktail has notes of coffee and almond, and is suited even for those who hate Campari in Negronis.

6 oz coffee infused gin

2 ½ oz Lillet Blanc

2 ½ oz Aperol

3 oz Campari

2 oz Amaretto

4 oz water

Add all ingredients to a vessel and stick in fridge/freezer. when ready to serve, pour over a large ice cube in a glass and garnish with an orange twist

Coffee infused gin

300 ml gin

16 g light roast coffee, whole

Add ingredients together in a jar and let sit for 24 hours, then strain and place in freezer.
