Aunt Martha’s Baked Beans

2 pounds great Northern beans

Water

1-14 ounce ketchup

2 cups white sugar

1/4 to 1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup fried bacon

2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

Cover the beans with water and boil for 5 to 10 minutes. Drain and cover with water and simmer two hours. Drain.

Stir together the ingredients and add in the beans.

Bake at 350° and stir often.
