MOLASSES PULL CANDY - NO BAKE

Ingredients
• 1 cup molasses (240 ml)
• 1 cup granulated sugar (200 g)
• 1 tbsp butter (14 g)
• 1 tbsp vinegar (15 ml)
• pinch salt
Optional: ½ tsp ginger or cinnamon
Anweisungen
Butter a baking sheet or marble surface.
2️⃣ In a saucepan combine molasses, sugar, butter, vinegar, and salt.
3️⃣ Cook over medium heat, stirring, until mixture reaches hard-ball stage (260°F / 127°C) or forms a firm ball in cold water.
4️⃣ Pour onto buttered surface and cool until warm but safe to handle.
5️⃣ Butter hands and pull candy, stretching and folding until lighter in color and glossy.
6️⃣ Pull into ropes, cut into pieces, and let cool to set.
