Black Bean Protein Bars

1 tin of black beans, drained and rinsed
2 ½ generous tbsp honey
2 ½ generous tbsp raw cacao powder
2 generous tbsp peanut butter
1 cup/100g oats
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the chocolate topping:
About 4 squares of 70% dark chocolate (around 50g)
1/2 tsp coconut oil
Anweisungen
Add all the ingredients into a food processor (except for the chocolate topping ingredients!)
Blend until it forms a chocolate dough, if the batter seems too wet to be a dough then add a little more oats.
Turn the dough out onto a tray lined with parchment paper and press down and shape the dough into a rectangle of whatever thickness you’d like your bars to be!
Melt the dark chocolate with the coconut oil in a bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water.
Spread the melted chocolate over the top of the bar and place into the freezer for 10 mins to harden before cutting into bars! Makes around 7 large bars or you can cut them smaller!

7/10 from me. Isha didn’t like it. Only 7 grams of protein if you divide by 8. Can add protein powder to increase. Need a baked version
