Spicy Braised Tofu

Ingredients (makes 2 servings):
- 1 tbsp sesame oil 
- 1 tbsp gochugaru 
- 3 tbsp soy sauce 
- 1 ½ tbsp minced garlic 
- 1/2 tbsp brown sugar 
- 2 medium green onion 
- 1/4-1 whole, seedless jalapeno (adjust to heat preference) 
- 1/4 cup of water 
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds 
- salt to taste 
- 1 medium firm tofu pack (13.5 oz) 
- How to make it yourself: 
Anweisungen
- Dice your jalapeño and green onion into small pieces 
- Drain your tofu and pat dry 
- Slice the tofu into small rectangles 
- Salt your tofu pieces to taste 
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, water, green onion, jalapeño, brown sugar, minced garlic, and gochugaru and mix well. 
- In a pan coated with spray oil on medium heat, grill your tofu pieces until lightly golden on both sides 
- Lower the heat to low and pour your sauce on top of the tofu and let it cook for 1-2 minutes 
- Pour it all into an airtight container to enjoy later!
