Pecan Caramel Brownies

Brownie Batter

¾ cup unsalted butter (170 g)

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate (170 g)

1½ cup sugar (300 g)

3 large eggs (room temp)

1 tsp vanilla

¾ cup all-purpose flour (95 g)

½ cup cocoa powder (50 g)

½ tsp salt

½ cup pecans (64 g)

½ cup chocolate chips (85 g)

Pecan Caramel Topping

1½ cup pecans (150 g)

6 tbsp butter (85 g)

⅓ cup maple syrup (78 ml)

½ cup brown sugar (110 g)

2 tbsp corn syrup

¼ tsp salt

½ tsp vanilla

Anweisungen

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease & line 8x8” pan.

Melt butter + chocolate, whisk in sugar, then eggs & vanilla.

Fold in flour, cocoa, salt, pecans & chocolate chips.

Bake ~35 min (edges set, center soft).

While baking, cook pecans, butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, corn syrup & salt. Simmer 3 min, add vanilla.

Pour topping over brownies, bake another 25 min.

Cool, slice & enjoy fudgy brownies with gooey caramel pecan topping! 🤎

Storage: airtight container 2 days room temp, 6 days fridge, 2 months freezer.
