Here’s how I felt like making mine today:

1 oz Havana Club 7

1 oz Appleton 8

1 oz fresh lime juice (save those husks!)

¾ oz Demerara syrup

A generous handful of mint

About 6 dashes of Angostura bitters for the float

Anweisungen

In a large highball, add the lime juice and mint. Slice the spent lime husks into a few pieces and place them over the mint. Add the rums and syrup, then fill with crushed ice and swizzle until frosty. Top with more crushed ice, float the Angostura, garnish with a mint bouquet and a straw.
