Fresh Jalapeño Salsa – Zesty, Spicy & Addictively Good

4–5 fresh jalapeños (stems removed, keep seeds for more heat)
1 small onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
Juice of 1 lime
1/4 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp olive oil or neutral oil
Optional: 1 small tomatillo or 1/2 avocado for added creaminess
Anweisungen
In a hot skillet or over a flame, char the jalapeños, garlic, and onion until blistered and slightly softened.
Add to a blender with lime juice, cilantro, salt, and oil. Blend until smooth or leave slightly chunky.
Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed. Chill before serving if desired.
