Kale Basil Pistachio Pesto

Ingredienser

  • 1 cup fresh kale

  • 1 cup fresh basil

  • 5 stems fresh Mint

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 cup shredded mild Gruyère

  • 2 cups pistachios? (Called for .25)

  • 1/3 cups nice EVOO (~5 Tbsp)

  • Sea salt

Vejledning

  1. Chop up all the greens. It should be around 2 cups worth.

  2. Grind up the pistachios. We used a mortar and pestle.

  3. Mince the garlic.

  4. Add in greens, nuts, oil and garlic to a food processor then blend.

  5. Add salt to taste.

Notater

  • Use more kale than basil

  • 2 cups of pistachios might be wrong
