Korean Spinach Salad

TIP: This dish is traditionally made with regular spinach, NOT baby spinach. However, I’ve tested both and to me, it’s fine to use either. Baby spinach is MUCH easier to find in the store and may be more accessible so I based this recipe around that!
TIP: When deciding on your portion, a good rule of thumb is one bag or box of spinach will serve one person!
Measurements (for 2 people):
2 bags or boxes of spinach
2-3 tsp sesame oil
2-3 tsp soy sauce
2-4 cloves of minced garlic
chopped green onions to taste
sesame seeds to taste
gochugaru (korean red chili flakes) to taste
pinch of salt
Vejledning
Blanch spinach in boiling water for 30 seconds until bright green. Dunk in an ice bath to stop the cooking process.
Wring water out with your hands. Season.
