Creamy Mashed Poatotes

Ingredience

Yellow golden potatoes

1 stick butter

1/2 cup milk or half n half

Half a block of garlic and herb Boursin cheese OR 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)

Salt & pepper

Garlic salt

Onion powder

Fresh chives

Pokyny

Start by boiling a heavily salted pot of water.

Wash and cut your potatoes in half or quarters depending on size of your potatoes. Add potatoes to boiling water and cook for roughly 25mins until fork tender. Once finished cooking make sure to drain water well.

About a minute or two before potatoes are done cooking, combine your stick of butter and milk to a sauce pan and whisk to create a milk mixture.

Add potatoes to stand mixture, give it a rough mash by hand with potato masher, then add in seasonings, Boursin cheese and half of milk mixture. Start by setting mixer to level 1 and slowly work your way up to level 7 staying there for about 30seconds-1minute. Use remaining milk mixture if needed.

Plate and top with fresh chives!
