Sticky Sesame Cauliflower

These sticky cauliflower “wings” tick all the right boxes ! Dive in as is or pair with rice for a very unboring cauliflower dish.
Pokyny
Add washed cauliflower florets to a pot of simmering salted water and cook until fork-tender.
Meanwhile, whisk together:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp corn flour
1/2 cup cold water or milk
Pinch of salt
Crack of black pepper
Lots of paprika
The batter should have a thickish consistency
Dip each floret in this batter until generously coated, draining the excess.
Heat a generous splash of oil in a pan (enough to cover the bottom layer). Arrange the pieces cook on low heat, flipping the pieces over until they are evenly crispy on the outside
Set the cauli aside, then add a splash of sesame oil to the same pan + 2-3 cloves of minced garlic + 2-3 tsp chilli powder/ gochugaru and sesame seeds.
Stir until the mixture is fragrant, then add:
1 - 1.5 tbsp hot sauce
1.5 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
2-3 tsp sugar
2-4 tbsp water
Once it is at a saucy simmer, drop in your cooked cauli.
Serve over rice, spooning the leftover sauce on top. Garnish with more sesame seeds and scallions and DIVE ON IN!
