Sweet as Apple Pie

1 small apple, chopped

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided

1 serving vanilla protein powder

1 tablespoon (5 g) psyllium husk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1½ cups (129 g) frozen cauliflower

¼ cup (60 ml) unsweetened almond milk

Topping

1 tablespoon (16 g) almond butter

步骤

Place the chopped apple in a small pan over medium heat. Add about 3 tablespoons (44 ml) water to the pan so the apple doesn't burn. Add ½ teaspoon cinnamon and cook the apple until soft.

In a blender, combine protein powder, psyllium husk, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, vanilla extract, frozen cauliflower, almond milk, and half the cooked apples. Blend on high until smooth.

Place in a bowl and top with the other half of the cooked apples and a drizzle of almond butter. Serve.
