Creamy, and Zesty Coconut Lime Tofu

For the tofu:

1 block (14 oz) extra-firm tofu

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oil (for frying or air frying)

For the coconut lime sauce:

1 tablespoon oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk (full-fat for richness)

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper or to taste

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika powder

1 tsp dried parsley

Salt and pepper to taste

Juice of 1 lime or (to taste)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

Chili flakes or sliced fresh chili (optional for heat)

Chopped cilantro and lime wedges for garnish
