Roast Brussels Sprouts

1 kg Brussels sprouts

6 tbsp olive oil

Sea salt and black pepper

步骤

1 Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/ gas mark 6.

2 While your oven is preheating, rinse the sprouts in cold water. Trim the base from each, and discard any outer leaves that look browned or wilted.

3 Keep smaller sprouts whole and cut larger ones in half. If any Of the leaves fall off at this stage, leave them in with the sprouts they will turn crispy and extra delicious in the oven.

4 Place the sprouts on a large baking tray, toss with the olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the sprouts are lightly charred and crisp on the outside and roasted on the bottoms

5 Remove from the oven, taste and add extra seasoning if needed, then serve.
