Kalam Polo in One Pot

1 Onion
1/2 Cabbage (we like lots of cabbage in ours)
1 pound of Lean Ground Beef
2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
2-3 Cups of washed Basmati Rice
Water (1:1 ratio with rice)
don’t add too much water to avoid the dish getting mushy.
Spices
Tumeric
Paprika
A Dash of Cumin
Salt and Pepper
Finish with Saffron Steeped Water before steaming
Garnish with Iranian Barberries and serve with Torshi and/or Yogurt
