Honey Harissa Kani Salmon Recipe

If you need a showstopping salmon recipe, look no further.
Insane flavours, super easy to throw together and totally delicious.
If spicy isn’t your thing, use a mild harissa (like Mina) - you’ll still get amazing flavour, without the heat.
Honey harissa Kani topped salmon
1 large fillet salmon (approximately 2- 2 1/2 pounds
1 pack Kani sticks (imitation crab) (I use dyna sea brand) - pulled apart to form spaghetti like strands, and then cut in half.
For sauce/marinade
1/3 cup honey
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp harissa (use a mild one for less spicy)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt
1 tbsp lemon juice
Zest on a lemon (1 tsp)
For honey harissa drizzle
1/4 cup light mayo
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp harissa
Salt
Lemon zest (from one lemon - approx 1 tsp)
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
Chopped Parsley and sliced green onions to garnish

Mix marinade Ingredients.
Spread 1/3 of marinade over salmon
Add rest of marinade into Kani and mix well to coat.
Spread an even layer of the seasoned Kani
Over the salmon fillet.
Bake uncovered at 400 for 25-30 minutes (will vary if salmon is very thick - make sure center is cooked through)
While salmon is cooking, mix ingredients for the honey harissa drizzle.
Remove from oven, drizzle with honey Harrisa mayo.
Garnish with chopped parsley and green onions .
