Meal Prep Quinoa Porrige

1 cup uncooked white quinoa

milk

pinch sea salt

3 TBSP chia seeds

cocoa powder

honey

1️⃣ Meal prep ahead

Wash quinoa.

Heat a small saucepan over medium heat. Once hot, add the quinoa and toast for 3 minutes, stirring frequently, to dry up water and slightly toast.

1 cup quinoa + 2 cups water + pinch salt

Simmer covered, low heat.

2mn before fully cooked, turn off heat.

Leave lid on 5 minutes

You’ll know it’s about 2 minutes from done when:

✅ The white “tail” (germ) has popped out on most grains

✅ There’s still a tiny bit of moisture at the bottom

✅ It’s tender but has the slightest firmness in the center

✅ It still looks slightly glossy, not dry

2️⃣ Storing

Before refrigerating, stir in: 1–2 tablespoons milk per cup of cooked quinoa. Not enough to make it loose — just enough to keep it relaxed.

Store airtight.

3️⃣Morning of serving

Scoop quinoa into bowl.

Add ~½ cup milk and microwave 60–90 sec.

Add 1 tsp chia seeds. Stir. Let sit 1–2 mn.

Mix cocoa + honey + a splash of warm milk into a paste. Then stir into quinoa.
