For Pecan Pie:

The Filling -

About a cup of Pecans

Light or Dark Karo syrup, depending on how dark and rich of a pie you prefer!

Sugar

Brown sugar?

Eggs

Butter

Vanilla

For The Pie Crusts:

Flour

Crisco shortening

A dash of salt

*And I think baking powder?

3-5 Tbsp of cold ice water

For the Pumpkin Pie:

Follow the directions on Libby’s Pumpkin Pie Filling label!

For the Pecan Pie:

Follow directions on back of the Karo Syrup bottle!

For the Pie Crusts:

Ask grandma and grandpa! (Cummings) They keep stealing it from my recipe library. (I’m sure they will deny that though.)

You can also get the pre-made shells at the store. Pillsbury in the refrigerator case) is probably the best.. if I don’t do that, and not making my own, I will sometimes go for the one in a pie tin. Ask at the store if you can’t find it.)
