Cream Cheese Topped Pumpkin Bread

This is my classic pumpkin bread topped with a delicious cream cheese frosting! This is packed full of so much flavor and truly a fall staple!

1 cup pumpkin puree

1/2 cup unsalted browned butter

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/3 cup plain greek yogurt

1/3 cups whole milk

1 & 1/2 cup all purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

1/4 tsp salt

Cream cheese frosting

8oz room temperature cream cheese

8oz room temperature butter

2 cups confectioners sugar

1 tbsp milk

How to:

Start by preheating your oven to 350F

In a large bowl, combine your butter and sugar before adding in your eggs and vanilla extract. Once combine. Add in your pumpkin purée and Greek yogurt mix well.

Add your dry ingredients to your wet and fold to combine before adding in your milk and mixing until your batter is fully combined.

Place your batter in a lined loaf tin and into the oven for one hour

Once your pumpkin bread has cooked, allow it to cool completely before adding your frosting, slicing and enjoying !

Cream cheese frosting

Add your butter and cream cheese to a stand mixer. Mix on high for 2 minutes before adding your confectioners sugar and milk. Mix on high for 5 minutes. Top your cooked and cooled pumpkin bread and enjoy!
