Hot Honey Bacon Jam Salmon

Salmon filet
1 shallot
½ onion
1 Serrano chili pepper
4 cloves minced garlic
1 pack bacon
¼ cup maple syrup
¼ cup honey
⅛ cup balsamic vinegar
⅛ cup TRUFF Hot Sauce
2 tbsp chili powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, & smoked paprika
Sesame seeds and chives for garnish
First, prep your veggies and chop your shallot, onion, pepper, and garlic. Then cut up your bacon into small pieces.
Next, fry up your bacon pieces until crispy then remove from the pan. In the same pan add your shallot, onion, and serrano pepper and fry in the bacon fat. Next add your garlic and sesame seeds and saute on low heat.
Now add in your maple syrup, honey, balsamic vinegar and TRUFF Hot Sauce.
Finally, add your bacon back in, your seasonings, and stir on low heat until the sauce thickens.
Season your salmon then add on the bacon jam and bake or smoke at 225F until the salmon is done.
Garnish with chopped chives and sesame seeds! 🔥
