Vanilla Cream Pie

配料

2/3 cup sugar

3 T. cornstarch

1/2 tsp. salt

3 cups milk

1 T butter

1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Cook sugar, corn starch, salt, and milk over medium heat until mixture thickens, boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and gradually stir half of hot mixture into 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten.

Return all mixture to stove again and bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat, blend in butter and vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell.
