Sour Cream And Dill Chicken

2 lbs boneless , skinless chicken breasts
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 cup sour cream
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill OR 1 teaspoon dill weed
1 can (4 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained
Salt and pepper

Place chicken in a single layer in a greased 9x13 glass pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine soup, sour cream, soup mix, lemon juice, dill and mushrooms. Pour mixture over the chicken. Sprinkle with paprika .
Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour or until chicken is tender, juices run clear and 165 degrees.

You can make your own cream of soup by whisking 3 tablespoons flour (or rice flour)(or 2 tablespoons cornstarch) into 1 cup cold milk in a saucepan. Add 2 tablespoons butter, 1 teaspoon chicken or other flavoring bouillon, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoons onion and garlic powder each. Bring ingredients to a boil whisking frequently. Reduce heat and simmer about 1 minute until thickened.
You can also make your own dry onion soup mix to make it gluten free.
