Cajun Boursin Chicken Orzo

1–1.5 lbs chicken breast (about 3, sliced or pounded even)

2 cups orzo

1 block Boursin (garlic & herb)

1–2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

1 bell pepper, diced

1 small onion, diced

3–4 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups chicken broth

½–1 cup shredded parmesan

Seasoning:

1–1½ tbsp Britscookin Cajun seasoning

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp paprika

1. Season your chicken

Season with Cajun seasoning, black pepper, and paprika.

2. Brown the chicken

Add olive oil and butter to a skillet.

Brown the chicken a couple minutes per side, flip, then remove once cooked through.

Sauté veggies

In that same pan, add your onion and bell pepper. Cook 3–4 minutes until softened.

Add garlic and cook another 30 seconds.

Add orzo

Stir in the orzo and let it toast for about a minute.

Add broth

Pour in about 4 cups of chicken broth.

Bring to a simmer and cook until the orzo is tender.

Make it creamy

Add in your Boursin and stir until melted and creamy.

Finish it off

Stir in parmesan, then slice your chicken and add it back on top. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon and a sprinkle of parsley. #easyrecipe #cajun #boursin #pasta #comfortfood
