Wonton Lasagna

3 green onions

6 large mushrooms (white)

2 cups thinly sliced nappa cabbage

2 large garlic cloves

1 tbsp grated ginger

1 lb ground chicken, turkey or lean beef

2 tbsp rice vinegar

2 tbsp sesame oil

2 tsp cornstarch

¼ cup soy sauce

2 tbsp hoisin or oyster sauce

1/3 cup water

1 package (200 g) small wonton wrappers (about 25 wrappers)

步驟

Thinly chop green onions. Then finely chop mushrooms. Slice nappa cabbage and garlic and grate ginger.

Add meat to a bowl and add in all chopped vegetables. Add rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, soy sauce, hoisin sauce and mix well.

Brush an 8” or 9” square pan with oil. Place single wonton sheets on bottom of pan, cut if necessary to fit.

Add 1/3 layer meat mixture and spread evenly.

Place another layer of wonton sheets over top, another layer of meat, another layer of wonton sheet, the final layer of meat and sprinkle with water.

Place a final layer of wonton over top and brush with oil.  Cover tightly with foil and place in a water bath and bake at 350 F for about 30 minutes.  just until meat is cooked to 160 F.

Garnish with chopped green onions and a drizzle of sesame oil. Enjoy!
