Homemade Granola

4 cups rolled oats (not quick-cooking)

1 1/3 cups flaked or shredaed unsweetened coconut

1 ½ cups brown sugar

1 cup sliced almonds

½ cup pecan pieces

½ cup walnut pieces

¾ cup canola oil

¾ cup cold water

1 T vanilla extract

1/3 cup dried cherries

1/3 cup dried cranberries

1/3 cup dried blueberries

½ cup raisins

步驟

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine the oats, coconut, sugar and nuts on a cookie/jelly roll baking sheet with sides. Stir well to combine. In a small bowl, whisk the oil with the water and vanilla, and pour over the dry ingredients. Stir until well coated.

2. Bake for one hour at 325 degrees, stirring every 10 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and stir in dry fruits.

3. Cool granola then transfer to container. You can store for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator, or place in re-sealable bag and keep in the freezer for up to 2 months.
