Chicken Gyro Recipe

Thinly sliced tomatoes
Thinly sliced red onions
Thinly sliced lettuce
2 ½ lbs chicken thighs
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 tsp fresh grated garlic
1/2 fresh squeezed lemon
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp cayenne powder
1 tsp black pepper
CUCUMBER SAUCE:
1 1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 tsp fresh grated garlic
1/2 fresh squeezed lemon
3/4 cup diced cucumber (seeds scooped out)
2 tsp fresh dill
Salt to taste
步驟
1.) To a large bowl add your chicken, yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, spices and seasonings. Mix together by hand until coated.
2.) Add to a pan and bake in the oven at 400°F until done (165° internal temp)
3.) For the sauce add your yogurt, cucumber, (with seeds scooped out), garlic, lemon juice, salt, and dill to a bowl and mix together until combined.
4.) When chicken is done let it cool for a few minutes then chop into cubes.
5.) To assemble, lay down some parchment paper, a gyro, sauce, lettuce, chicken, tomatoes, red onions, more sauce. Fold over and assemble the rest.
6.) Serve and enjoy!
