Chicken Shawarma with Garlic Sauce & Fries

Juicy chicken, creamy garlic sauce, crispy fries—this shawarma wrap is street food magic you can make at home! 🌯🔥

Ingredients : (for 4-5 wraps)
2 large chicken breasts (400g), sliced into strips
Olive oil
Parsley
Tomato
1 tbsp tomato paste
Juice of 1 lemon
Seasoning : (Paprika, turmeric, black pepper, salt, chili, garlic powder)
Garlic Sauce :
3 tbsp yogurt
2 tbsp mayonnaise
Garlic (minced)
Parsley
Sumac Onions :
1 red onion, sliced
Sumac powder
Parsley
Juice of ½ lemon
Extras :
26 cm wrap
Harissa (can be replaced with Sriracha)
Cucumber
Tomato
French fries
步驟
In a bowl : Add chicken strips, olive oil, seasoning, tomato paste & lemon juice. Mix well and let marinate.
Cook : Heat a pan and cook the chicken until golden brown.
Prepare the garlic sauce : Mix yogurt, mayo, minced garlic & parsley in a bowl.
Make sumac onions : In another bowl, combine red onion, sumac, parsley & lemon juice. Toss well.
Assemble the wrap :
Spread garlic sauce on the wrap.
Add cooked chicken.
Add sumac onions.
Add harissa (or Sriracha), cucumber, tomato & fries.
Drizzle more garlic sauce on top.
Fold & grill : Fold the bottom of the wrap, then the sides. Toast in a pan until golden brown.
Tips:
Marinate chicken overnight for deeper flavor.
Add pickles for extra tanginess.
