Mom’s Christmas Sugar Cookies

3 cups flour

1 cup shortening

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoon cream of tartar

2 beaten eggs

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1. Mix flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt, and shortening until it forms a pie crust dough consistency.

2. In a separate smaller bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Add to 1st bowl and mix.

3. Let dough sit in the fridge for about 15 minutes before rolling out.

4. Roll and bake at 350 degrees.
