Mediterranean Beef Wraps

Ground Beef Filling

500 g ground beef

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon ground coriander

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon tomato paste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Whipped Feta

150 g feta cheese

1/4 cup Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Freshly cracked black pepper

For Serving

4 pita breads

Shredded lettuce

Diced tomatoes

Sliced cucumber

Thinly sliced red onion

Optional: olives or fresh herbs

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until soft and translucent.

Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned.

Stir in cumin, paprika, coriander, oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Mix in tomato paste and cook for 2–3 minutes until well combined and slightly caramelized. Remove from heat and stir in parsley.

To make the whipped feta, blend feta, Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.

Warm the pita breads. Spread a generous layer of whipped feta inside each pita.

Fill with the seasoned ground beef and top with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.

Fold or roll and serve immediately.
