Mississippi Pot Roast

1 (3-4 pounds) chuck roast
1/2 packet dry ranch dressing mix
1/2 packet dry au jus gravy mix
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup water
4-5 pepperoncini peppers
1/8-1/4 cup juice from pepper jar
步驟
Season chuck roast with salt and pepper, then sear on all sides in pan. Don't cook all the way through.
Place roast in the slow cooker and sprinkle the top with the ranch dressing mix and the au jus mix.
Place peppers on top of the mixes, and add the butter on top of everything else.
Cook over low heat for 8 hours and then shred.
Serve with noodles, rice or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
