I've teamed up with @nusacana, using their incredible Dark Rum for this tropical twist on a classic. This Indonesian dark rum is aged in oak barrels and crafted with sustainably sourced sugarcane molasses, delivering deep notes of caramel, toasted oak, dried fruit, and a hint of warm spice — bold enough to stand up to smoke, yet smooth enough to sip. I’ve paired it with a charred pineapple syrup and built it in a cinnamon-smoked glass for layers of warming spice and tropical depth. The result? A perfectly balanced Old Fashioned with dark, smoky, and subtly sweet island energy 👌
