On a recent trip to Los Angeles with a few of my favourite people, I had one of those dishes. You know the kind-the one that stops the conversation mid-bite. It was smoky, sweet, spicy, and meant to be recreated at home.
Thanks to a phenomenal server, we got the inside scoop (damn right l ask all the questions) and brought this info home.
It’s charred to perfection, tossed with sticky sweet dates and a spicy vinaigrette and let’s not forget about the roasted almonds.
Trust me-you’re going to want to make extra.
