Garlic Butter Chicken with Parmesan Rigatoni Pasta

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

8 oz rigatoni pasta

¾ cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

¼ cup reserved pasta water

2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)

Cook rigatoni pasta in salted water according to package directions. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, stir in garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Pour in heavy cream and reserved pasta water. Bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan until smooth and creamy.

Add cooked pasta and chicken to the skillet, tossing everything together until coated in sauce.

Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
